Hello, and welcome to Slow Pots. My name is Rach, and I started making pottery in early 2022 through a casual wheel throwing class. I fell in love with the craft, but I didn’t know what pottery would become to me. Since then, I’ve been primarily self-taught, and have learnt many things the hard way. I believe this brings a rustic feel to my pots, being imperfectly perfect.

These days I don’t keep too much pottery for myself, just enough for my own daily needs. The real joy comes from knowing others use these pieces in their day-to-day lives, which is what keeps me making. I hope my shared pieces add something special to your daily moments.

I’m now based in Exmouth, Western Australia, and I create each piece in my home studio from start to finish, with lots of mess, laughs, and care.
